I had  BLAST doing "The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood Post!!! I have been BLESSED in my 41yrs of life to be surrounded by so many AMAZING women! I've witnessed so many times women that are always in competition with each other.. 

WTF!!! We all have gifts and talents,I know I'm good at what I do so why are we completing with each other! Like I've ALWAYS said, KC is big enough for us all to get some(or whatever State you're in). We could do so much more if we all pool our talents and resources together. 

I honestly believe we can change the world(or at least our communities!! I believe that with all that I am😍!!! So next up I'm doing a few of the Male's I Admire...since in my opinion Father's Day is er'day!!!

The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood(Kimberly Hardeman)

Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Kimberly Hardeman! Kim and I met as a result of a Community Village by the name of Uzazi Village. Uzazi Village is a place in the KC area that specializes in providing holistic health in the form of safe births for black and brown women,classes,coaching,sex education and so much more. If it pertains to the blight of black and brown women,they are on the forefront.

So after meeting briefly,we became friends on Facebook. As they say, the rest is history... lol. Not only does Kim assist in helping at the Village, she also has her on business, which makes Educational and Cultural games(my Sun and I play these games daily). She also helps out with the Black Homeschooling Group in our city. Kim also is a Mother,wife,oh and she's finishing up on her law degree.

I don't know how she does it and still finds time to make homemade diapers and female care products(cloth pads and the likes). I'm wore out just writing this...lol.
Kimberly I don't know how you do it,but I salute you and the many hat's you wear.

Kimberly I thank you for being a change agent, and on the front line fighting for the freedoms of black and brown people. I truly admire your love in keeping our culture alive and present for the next generation. Kim you are amazing, and I'm blessed to have you in my Facebook  SISTARhood Circle. Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Anaya Phillips! Anaya and I are actually related, she's married to my little(BIG)cousin.....lol. Anaya and I over the years have formed a special bond that continues to grow STRONGER with time.

I've seen Anaya grow and mature into a beYOUitful woman,wife, mother and friend!
I admire Anaya's drive in trying to achieve her goal as a nurse practitioner. She has worked very hard,so I know it's just a matter of time before she reaches her goal.

Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Tarshianna Morrow! Tarshianna and I met as a result of our hubby's friendship. Although we have only met a couple times(at my Sun's Naming Ceremony and a Hair Show). She definitely left a lasting impression.

Her support,encouragement,and energy has been felt. She was the inspiration for my SISTARhood Group I had in KC. I was inspired to do so after several of her post about her SISTARhood Group, and the connection that her and her Sistar's had. Although the one I had didn't last...lol(you have to be commended to the cause) in order for it to
work!
                                       
However I decided to make me a world wide SISTARhood Circle, and I've definitely been blessed because of it. Tarshianna has also been a HUGE supporter of my business. She has posted all of my products, Cookbook,and the likes! For that I am forever grateful.

Tarshianna thank you for being an encouragement to me,showing me and other's the benefits of surrounding yourself with a SISTARhood,a lesson I am thankful for. You my friend are a change agent. The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood(Sheena Mann)

Today's the Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Sheena Mann! I've known Sheena all her life. We grew up in the Seventh Day Adventist Faith. Although I was several years older we always had a pretty close connection.

One of my first jobs was getting paid $20 a week to do her hair...lol. Sheena had tons and tons of it. So every Shabbat we'd meet up early at Real Truth Seventh Day Adventist Church so I could fix her and her sister's hair up for the week.

Over the years our bond has continued to grow. I've seen Sheena turn out to be an amazing, loving, and caring person. A person who is always looking out for others. That has been her life's mission. Sheena has always been a supporter of the forgotten less fortunate,and the underdog.

Sheena has actually made that her life's work. Helping others is something that has been ingrained in her from birth,both of her parents are the same way. I often tell her it's a blessing and a curse(because unfortunately there are users in the world)!

Not only has Sheena and my relationship stood the test of time, she also has an excellent bond with my #3 Masai,she's one of his Yah-Parents. From birth until Masai turned 2yrs old I NEVER purchased a diaper,wet wipe,shoe,sock,clothes etc. Him Auntie(as Masai affectionately calls her),was there to help out. Which was a true blessing indeed.

Sheena no one knows what the future holds. However I want to thank you for all you do!! For all you have done for me and my family. I'm PROUD of the beYOUitful woman you have become. WE LOVE YOU Auntie, and pray for you daily(Masai and I), asking Abba Yah to keep you protected. That Abba continues to bless the works of your hands,and keep you surrounded in light,love,and shalom!!

The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood(Paula Jackson)

Today's the Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Paula Jackson! I met Paula about 8 or so years ago. Her and my Sun have a daughter together. When I first found out that my 17yrs old Sun was about to have a child,to say I was disappointed is an understatement.

However once the shock wore off,we all jumped on deck to make things happen. I remember telling Paula how breastfeeding is the best course of action for babies. So I signed her up for a breastfeeding class. Paula attended every single session(I was with her of course, wanted to make sure they were on point)! Regardless of Paula still being a teenage mom her and my G-bady had a successful 18-19 month breastfeeding journey. Another PROUD moment!

Once we found out she was having a girl,my whole world was rocked...lol! A girl?? What am I supposed to do with that. I can do hair and the likes,but girly stuff yikes!
Needless to say I had nothing to fear her amazing Aunties give the G-bady all the girly attention she needs,while we on this side rock superheroes. Super Girl is the fav at the moment.

Paula is an amazing mother to my G-bady!!! I swear I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with to ensure the overall wholeness for Lakyra. Although Paula and my Sun's young love didn't survive, I am blessed to say she is married to an awesome young man. He has definitely stepped into his role in caring for Paula and my G-bady.

Paula I can NEVER express how PROUD I am of you! You are an amazing young lady. I thank Abba Yah for you daily. I pray your strength to endure whatever challenges come your way. I pray you and Q continue to let love surround you,so your unit will always be strong. I pray you are able to stand up to the day to day life issues of being a mom,and wife.

I love ya lady,and will always be here for you. We will continue to make sure Lakyra's village is on point. To ensure she has the tools to make it in this life. Keep working on you,and making sure you are the BEST you. First for yourself then everyone else(self care is important). Again love ya,and thank you for BLESSING me with one of the four best things(my 3 Sun's and G-bady), that's EVER happened to me!

The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood(Frances Williams)

Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Frances Williams! Frances and I met through her hubby whom I've known since he was a baby. We were both at one time members of the Seventh Day Adventist Faith. Our families are more like family them friends.

So when the hubby came home one day and told me about a young man and his wife that wanted to come over to study with us on Shabbat...I'm like sure theythemore than welcome to come. So to my surprise it was Royce and his beYOUitful wife Frances.

There were lot's of hugs and catching up, seeing as I hadn't seen him since he was a little boy. Now he had a wife and a Sun himself. So needless to say Frances and I hit it off from the jump. I was beyond impressed with her when she told me she moved to the States and had to pretty much leave everything,and learn a lot of stuff over since she was ftom Puerto Rico.

Over the months after we met. Frances told me her desire to raise their Sun as holistic as possible, so we talked often about how to go about doing that. Even when others just didn't understand or agree. I would give Frances information to research and she'd be going toe to toe with others on the subject. However she always had facts to back up what she was saying.

We tag teamed on several occasions about the harmful side effects of vaccinations, the benefits to breastfeeding,diet,and our stance on religion issues as well! We've even been blocked and had our comments deleted. Lol we'd get a kick out of the whole thing. However we definitely made our point.

So with all that being said Frances I'm so PROUD of you and Royce. I love the beYOUitful union that's you,I love seeing all the pictures of the three(so to be four),of you guys! I'm blessed to have you as part of my Sistarhood Circle!! I pray for you guys daily that Abba Yah continues to bless the works of your hands. That He keeps you safe from all,hurts harm,or danger,and He always keeps you wrapped in shalom.

The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood(CaTina Taylor)

Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is CaTina Taylor!!! CaTina and I met on Facebook. I would see all these post about this KC Dreams Kindergarten Program. Since I am homeschooling I didn't give it a second thought.

However that all changed after a series of inbox message exchanges between CaTina and I. We talked about how the connection between what you eat and how the brain works. I was completely amazed and intrigued by this,not many people understand this especially pertaining to how children learn. Trust me there is a HUGE connection.

That's when CaTina invited me to cook for her school. I was very humbled by the request. However I told my hubby she might not want me after I tell her want I won't and don't cook(my holistic stand...lol). I was like ok CaTina here's the deal...

1.I don't cook meat,fish,chicken,beef,and definitely not pork!
2. I don't cook eggs or use cow's milk.
3. I don't use salt(if I do it's small amounts of pink himalayan salt)
4.I don't cook with Lord or butter.
5.I prefer to use live/raw foods,with spices and the like from my garden.

I told hubby,I don't think I got the gig when I didn't hear from CaTina after a couple days! However about five days before the launch of her School she was like Sunni that is PERFECT and exactly what I am looking for. You got the job if you want it,so as they say the rest is history.

It has been a TRUE pleasure working for her. All the love,compassion, hard work, blood, sweat,and tears she's poured into her dream has been a real inspiration to me and so many others. Catina's interaction with the children is a T-R-U-E testament to the love she has for making REAL change in our education system here in KC.

I feel so blessed, humbled, and honored to be apart of her vision and history in the making. Not only is CaTina living her dream,she's helping me fullfil my dream as well of giving health holstic, Vegan and Vegetarian meal to my community. I feel that if we start children eating healthy young,it because apart of them. In turn they can help educate their parent's so on,and so forth.

So Catina I can't thank you enough for all you do. I know this is just the beginning, Yah willing I pray I'll be on your team helping you change the world. The Best Is Yet To Come CaTina! I pray for you daily that Abba Yah continues to bless you and your vision. Light,live,and shalom!

What the KALE!!!!

Shalom y'all!
             I pray all is well with you and yours. Anywho I want to talk about a wonder drug. Not that garbage you get at CVS, Walgreen's,K-Mart or Walmart. This little miracle drug can be find right in your garden. Yes ma'am that's right...believe it or not but it's Kale!!?

I know right...lol. It kinda took me aback as well. However after trying it years ago to treat migraine headaches,I'm now a TRUE believer. Kale is a super food,most of us already knew that. It's pack with tons vitamins and is nutrients dense.

What makes Kale stand in a class of its own is Kale has phytonutrients which is great for inflammation, migraines, detoxification of the liver and a host of other AMAZING benefits. So the next time you get a migraine don't reach for the pills,throw ya hands up and say What the Kale....lol could it hurt to give my Kale Migraine Juice a try.

Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Ima Charlotte and Ima Hakima!!! These to beYOUitful souls have been VERY instrumental in my growth as a Melanated Warrior. The grace in which these two Queen Ima's carry themselves is a true testimony of their connection to Royalty.

Ima Charlotte and Ima Hakima passion for representing us on the front line is so encouraging. I love how they stand FIRM in their beliefs and always true to the eto the culture. They travel far and wide keeping our history alive,through education, stories,poetry,drumming circles and the likes.

However don't be deceived they will come with the quickness in a minute,and  shut it down....lol. They understand the vision and will not be swayed by the powers that be,but will go toe to toe in battle for what they stand for(community). For me personally I've watched them and have tried to soak up the jewels of knowledge they have to share.

Ima Charlotte and Ima Hakima were not given silver spoon,however regardless of life circumstances they've moved forward,and are building a TRUE legecy behind,for the next generation to pick up arms and fight. I feel blessed whenever I'm in their presence, because I know I'm standing in the presence of greatness. No I don't worship any man,however I do understand the importance of giving respect were it's due. So in my mind these are two me what Queen Elizabeth is to England.

Ima Charlotte and Ima Hakima I love you,and appreciate you,thankful to know you, blessed to be able to soak up knowledge at yo knee(no matter near or far). Thank you for being examples of what my generation should aspire to be as Melanated Warrior's for battle,not just for us,but our children,our family and friends,our people,our health and our community.

Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Tovah Tanner! Tovah and I met at Nella Yoga Studio for a Baby and Me Yoga Classes. We encountered each other again because of my Sun's 1,000 read in 3 1/2 months book challenge success.

So as they say the rest is history. I follow Tovah on Facebook and am amazed at her commitment to her family. As a business owner herself she still finds the time,to shuffle her Sun who writes children's books,to book signing,to Lego and Science Camps! She definitely has her hands full.

Even though Tovah is juggling all these role,she still makes time for her community. One of her latest project(with the help of others),is organizing the Juneteenth Program here in KC. Tovah is a REAL change agent with several responsibilities. However she makes it look classy...lol.

 When I tell you upon the first time meeting you I was very much so impressed!!! I came home and told my hubby this Sistar is dope her style is awesome the whole 9. However the memory for me that stood out was the day you walked in with your freeform locks,pants several sizes to big,Nella Yoga shirt on and took your position in front to start class...lol.

The looks on some of the students faces was  priceless. Then your hubby walks into your studio in FULL military gear. I was to out done...lol! Your class couldn't got over fast enough before I called the hub's like....these 2 here are the REAL DEAL!!!!

Not only is she the #1 in KC for Beginniners Yoga,Shanell is also the mom of two adorable and VERY active twin girl(and pregnant with #3),she is also a wife,and a community activist. Shanell also does a lot with the Vegan community by bringing awareness through classes.Shanell is a REAL change agent!

I for one absolutely love her meditation class. So whenever I need to regroup,quite my mind,and focus on wholeness from the inside out Shanell Petersen-Reffell and Nella Yoga is sooo where it's at!!! So all that to say...I love your ministry, I salute your desire to give back to the community.....here's to many,many more years

The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Jameca D. Johnson! Jameca and I met of Facebook on a Melanated Breastfeeding Group. Not only did we hit it off immediately, we found out we had a lot in common. For starters she's a Chi-Town girl,and her belief in Shabbat and Abba Yah!!

We have tag teamed on a many of Facebook post on many different issues. Lol from the proper name of Yah,Culture,Shabbat,Diet,Breastfeeding and the like. Jameca's knowledge of Scripture and Self is inspirating. She's not one to just throw out words, however she backs up every word with Torah of facts. That is what caught my eye when we met.

She juggle multiple hat's making them all look like a breeze. From being a wife, mother,working in the medical field(and night's at that). She can still be found doing activities with her family, shuffling the babies around to their different destinations, all with a smile.

She was a teen mom,however she has displayed that regardless of  your situation you can defined the out come. Not only did she marry her love and daughters father, they are still happily married with a BEYOUITFUL few more addictions to the tribe! Talk about a T-R-U-E success story.

James you are a REAL trailblazer and an example of what hard work and dedication can achieve. I'm blessed to know ya,and have you in my Facebook SISTARhood! You are a breath of fresh air. Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is.Tytina Sanders-Bey! Tytina and I met on Facebook through a Breastfeeding Group for Melanated Women. Tytina and I hit it off immediately, and have been Facebook buddies every since.

Tytina in my opinion is a REAL life SuperMom. She goes by the hashtag 1/2 a dozen which is a representation of her beYOUitful babies. She makes parenthood look flawless. Shuffling them babies to school,activities, family outing, and the likes.

Tytina also is a business owner. She is one of Avon's top selling consultants. She is a Certified Lactation Counselor(CLC)and Doula. Tytine is the founder and operator of Tytina's Better Birth and Breastfeeding!!! When I tell you this lady R-O-C-K it's the Yah honest TRUTH!!

Tytina I'm blessed to know ya Ma! I'm thankful that our paths crossed, you have been a TRUE inspiration to me,and many others. Your sense of humor is a breath of fresh air. You keep me laughing from your post about REAL life issues, while making parenting look like a piece of cake.

Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Shakti Sterner! Shakti and I met on Facebook. She was interested in my holistic lifestyle etc. After a few conversation I found out she was into healing through Chakras which was something I had just started studying upon.

Shakti was a wealth of knowledge. From classes to radio shows she was doing it all. I was very much so impressed with all that she did on top of being a widow,and now having to raise her babies alone.

Then the opportunity of a lifetime came(for me anyway...lol). She told me she was coming up with an online magazine and would I be interested in doing Vegan recipes. Of course I said yes!!!

I feel blessed to have met Shakti! I love everything about her mission for Detroit, the movements she's apart of,and honored to have my four generations recipes for all the world to see. She has been supportive of my business from day one. Even while out of the country, serving her country, she has been one of my BIGGEST supporters. Alicia has been a listening hear on many occasions. She's a straight shooter... lol,no pussy footing around it,telling ya just what ya need to hear.

Positive Peer Influence

Shalom Y'all,
               Never underestimate the POSITIVE power and influence children can have on each other to eat healthy. Masai and I have been cooking for KC Dreams Academy. One of the scholar's he knew from Uzazi Village is apart of the program there.

Last week Masai picked some Red Leaf Lettuce for the scholar's lunch. After we prepared the meal,the children began to eat. His friend was eating everything but the lettuce... lol. So Masai walked over to him and said, you don't like the lettuce? The little boy said no not really.

Masai told him, I grew that lettuce all by myself. The young man replied you did,and ate it all. Today we had HayStacks for lunch. When the little boy saw the lettuce on his plate, he asked Masai if he grew that too. Masai told him yes I did. The little boy was like ok...lol. Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Katina Robinson! I tried waiting and posting a few Sistar's before I did my  day #1. Katina is my little sister however people AWAYS think she's the oldest. However we are actually 18 months apart. Nonetheless I've from day one put myself more as a mother figure, then sister,I moved she moved...seriously.

Katina and I had a rough childhood,growing up  moving from state to state,for our mother to preach the good news. With little or no support from the organization she slaved for. As a result we went without a lot of things we should not have had to. So we did the best we could with what little we had.

Sometimes we were never in a place long enough to make friends, however we ALWAYS had each other. So our bond was/is pretty tight. From homelessness, hunger, and several other situations no child should be subject to. With the help of Abba Yah we made it through, even despite no real support but each other. Abuse, mental issuse,broken hearts,marriages that didn't last,to raising Sun's,regrouping, remaking ourselves,to adjust to whatevet environment we found ourselves in at that time. We're still STANDING!

From being told often we would NEVER amount to ANYTHING,or we would have a house full of kids(we've only had kids with our husbands). We didn't get the opportunity to finish High School(because of lost credits,poor Homeschool recording keeping)so we decided to instead get our GED. We never tell our story to gain sympathy form other's,but to let others know,your situation and circumstances don't defined your outcome.

So K.T. as I like to call her is my REAL LIFE SuperHero!!! I'm so PROUD of you Katina. I've seen you fighting hard to find your place in the world. Regardless of the many hats you've wore,you have had many roles l over the years as a mother, wife, daughter,friend,sister,lover,etc. Losing yourself in the process. Sometimes you have to lose yourself to find your TRUE self.

Keep searching K.T. keep seeking for truth,hold fast to yourself,don't change who you are,don't ever lose sight of those that love you,always stay connected to those who love you...fight for  what is true and just. I love you K.T.!!! I'm so proud of all that you are...my forever day 1💙💙💙!!!!

The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood(Dominique Hernandez Hall)

Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is my fur babies adoptive Mom Dominique!! Dominique and I met through a health page on Facebook, and the rest has been a beautiful connection. Especially when I found out she was a true round the way girl(her being from the Lou,and me from the Chi)!! Then to top that we both looooved us some Uno Pizza!!! Lol from that day on I know we were a match made in memory heaven.

I've been very impressed over the course of our relationship the growth and development, I've seen in Dominique has been hard on and for her,but life lessons to say the least. I am a PROUD big Sistar is an understatement.  I've seen the struggle with trying to find her grounding,and place not sure,unsure of where her next move was going to be. All the while still making it look classy and flawless.

She's been a good Mommy to my babies. She knew how hard it was to part with Shadow and Smokey(because #3 was highly allergic to cat hair). She stepped right in and loved them little fur ball. Keeping me up to date with tons of pictures, calls,post,text,and check-ins....lol.

Dominique I am so PROUD of you Ma. You are AMAZING,You ROCK,You are AWESOME, You are LOVED,You are VALUED,You have a BeYOUitful gift,to make people look,and feel their BEST!!! Like I've told you before, I can NEVER take the place of your people in the Lou,however you got people's in KC too. Light,Love,and Shalom,and keep SHINING BeYOUitful💙!!!!

Basil... Ain't Just For Spaghetti!

              Did you know that basil, especially basil oil is good for more then just seasonings foods,and spaghetti!? Over the years basil has been a stable in my Herbal medicine cabinet. The leaves and seeds of this powerful herb,definitely pack a POWERFUL bunch. I've used it as a tea to drink,to Ward off depression and a host of other issues. Basil really is a wonder herbs,that should be grown in every household.

Today my The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Malkia Benzy! Malkia and I met on Facebook on her page about Melanated People w/Loc's. We hit it off right away. Not sure how the topic got on children,however once we started taking about our Sun's...lol it was a wrap!


Her love for her Sun is beYOUitful to see,he is truly a gift. He continues to be the  drive she needs to keep moving forward. He spirit is so beYOUitful and rare. Malkia and I have had many inbox conversations about our goals,plans and the future. With it ALWAYS boiling down to how it will affect our Sun's. So through heartaches,pains, ups and downs, leaving a legacy for our Sun's is essential,and a price we're willing to pay no matter the cost.

Another thing that I've be impressed with is her pride of self,and her desire to keep educating herself. That's why the picture I used in my opinion wraps up everything that represents Malkia. So blessed our paths cross Ma. I can't wait for your blog,and cooking channel.

So keep rising and striving Ma! Even when the roads are endless,and bumpy,shake it off and keep on moving. The most important person in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD is, your Sun. Today my The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Alisha Butterflygoddess White. Butterfly and I met in a Vegan Group ran by another one of my Facebook friends,who is now family Darrin . The topic of the day was Vegans and Sex.

There was some very interesting takes on it,however Butterfly's comments stood out to me,as not only educational, but laced with experience and knowledge of what she was talking about. While most was just shooting off at the mouth...lol,Butterfly's comments,and replies were very sound.

So I sent her a friend request. We talked through inbox often, sharing advice,hopes, hurts,and dreams,as they say the rest is a BEYOUITFUL history. We've been going STRONG every since, and that was about two years ago. I've seen the AMAZING transformation in Butterfly, and happy to say in a small way I've touch her life,just like she has mines.

Facebook is not all cheating,hustling,lying and make believe......lol,I've made some truly lasting relationships on here Butterfly and I are one of them. So keeping rising Butterfly, showing love,receiving love,and healing the masses. Your work is not in vain,you and your ministry, is definitely needed for such a time as this! The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood(Tru Justice)

Today's The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Tru Justice. From our first conversation at Uzazi Village I knew without a shadow of a doubt I was in the presence of a Tru Melanated Warrior. And boy was I right..lol.

Outside of her roles as a wife,and mother,she is an advocate for the people. Tru has put her heart,love,sweat and tears into many projects. She is a Domestic Violence Educator,Birth and Postpartum Doula,Reproduction and Childbirth Educator, as well as a Breastfeeding Counselor.

Her mission is to bring healthy babies into the world,by fighting for rights of Black and Brown people. Tru is working hard along with other's to change laws so that every Black or Brown person that decides to have hospital births are treated with respect. However that's not all. Tru also is an advocate for Homeschooling our Melanated Babies and is one of the founding members of the Kansas City Black Homeschool right here in KC.

Tru Justice is a REAL KC trailblazer,fighting for the rights of melanated people. She has put her actions into words, and is making BIG changes in our city. Tru has let NOTHING or no one stop her from doing what needs to be done to  make sure our birthing, hospital stays breastfeeding,etc,are equal to the experiences that our counterparts often enjoy with success and support,and no stress.

Tru Justice I salute you and pray that you continue to have the strength to endure, any and every one of the challenges ahead. Keep shining and rising Sister-friend,light,love,and shalom!

For day 3 of my The Beauty of Melanie, a Celebration of SISTARhood is Brand Gordon. I have so much love and respect for this Sistar. Her strength and endurance is beYOUitful and encouraging.

She in my opinion is a woman all women should aspire to be. From soap making,sprouting,gardening,being a wife,mother,advocate,and teacher of all things holistic and natural. She also finds time to homeschooling her amazing children,and run a farm with horses,and every tree imaginable.

My Spirit Twin(as we affectionately call each other is the essence of a Melanated Superwoman. Your ministry has touched so many lives in such a positive way. I thank Abba Yah daily for allowing our paths to cross. I salute you sistar-friend!!!

The Sistar I'm honoring on day 2 of my "The Beauty of Melanie a Celebration of SISTARhood is Laka Maluhia Hiuwai! This BeYOUitful young lady and I became friends because of our love of Breastfeeding. We would talk through inbox often, just encouraging each other. That was 2yrs ago. She may not have passed throw my womb,however my love for her is no less than if she had!!!

I'm PROUD of you and the beYOUitful way she has evolving into a wombman, mother,caretaker,sister,and friend. You have taken the hand you've be dealt and made the best of it. You TRULY have lived by the motto life is what you make it. I love ya to the moon,around the stars and back!  BabyCakes keep working hard to be the best you. Your Mother would be so proud of you,and the way you've continued to move through life in her absence...you a BEYOUITFUL!
