Moringa Seeds contain a wide variety of nutrients that give these seeds antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. These seeds also reduce the risk of heart disease, lower cholesterol, stabilize blood sugars, and improve our immune system.


Moringa Seeds also have external uses. The oil extracted from them acts as a natural moisturizer for the skin. It is also applied topically as an astringent, as it helps fight bacterial infections, and treat wounds, cuts, and bites! 


Let’s learn a little about the moringa seeds nutritional value. Following are the ranges for different macronutrient composition of the 100 grams of the dry weight of the seeds:

1. Fat 34.7 to 40.4 grams

2. Proteins 29.4 to 33.3 grams

3. Carbohydrates 16.5 to 19.8 grams

Whatcha Need:

1 cup sweetened almond milk or your favorite milk

1/2 cup fresh moringa leaves (or 2 teaspoons moringa powder)

1 sliced frozen banana

1/2 cup frozen pineapple

A sprinkle of hemp seeds

Dash cinnamon 


How it’s Done:

Add all your ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds,or until the smoothie is thick and creamy. Serve immediately. Also can be added to popsicles molds for a delicious treat!
