Awww man this was an amazing core memory,of when my youngest Sun Masai Long was little. Each year we’d go to an Elders garden and pick peaches fresh off her trees. We’d use the peaches for pies, jams, and dressings! However we’d gather lots of the leaves as well for my FARMacy, which would then be used for salves, teas, and tinctures! Here’s our delicious and yummy Peach Drizzle recipe that has been a staple in our home for years…enjoy🤟🏾.
Peach Drizzle
Whatcha Need:
5-6 large very ripe peach
1/2 cup extra virgin
2T tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
4T localized honey
1/2t Himalayan salt
1/2t basil
1/4t minced garlic
1 jalapeño(seeds included for heat)
How it's Done:
Add all your ingredients in a blender or small food processor. Blend on high until very smooth. Taste and adjust the seasoning and honey to desired. Set aside to allow flavours to blend in the icebox for at least an hour. Enjoy
