Today's Melanated Hero is Mr. Joe Louis a.k.a. The Brown Bomber. Mr. Louis was born in Lafayette Alabama in May 1914,to sharecroppers,he was also th grandson of slaves. Mr.Louis came from very humble beginnings. He was one of eight children. Unfortunately as a young child his father was committed to a asylum.
However with all the odds stacked against him,he was able to rise above and accomplish great things. Mr.Louis reign as Heavy Weight Champion of World from 1937-1949. He fought 71 matches, winning 68 of the eith 58 of them being knockout. Mr. Louis stood as a shining symbol of mythical while working to ensure racial unity and unlimited opportunities for Melanated people.
